Terms and conditions

All deliveries and services by Wheelz4kids are made on the basis of the following terms and conditions.

1. General information

1.1. By placing an order or accepting the delivery, these are accepted for the duration of the entire agreement. Deviating conditions that are not explicitly acknowledged in writing are not binding for us, even if they are not explicitly refused.

1.2. The possible deviation from some specifically defined conditions never implies that the other conditions would also cease to apply.

2. Offer and conclusion of the agreement

2.1. The presentation of products in our online shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to order, with the necessary reservation for possible errors.

2.2. By clicking on the [Order] button you are placing a binding order for the products listed on the order page. The purchase agreement is concluded when we accept your order with an order confirmation via e-mail upon receipt of your order

3. Payment/shipping costs

3.1. Payment of the goods is made via Ideal, credit card, Paypal or Klarna.

3.2. The standard shipping costs of € 7.95 are waived for orders with a value of at least € 99 per order within the Netherlands. Deliveries to other countries are subject to separate shipping costs.

4. Delivery

4.1. Orders placed and paid before 16:00 will be offered to our carrier on the same working day. Orders placed/paid after 16:00 will be presented to our carrier the next working day. Orders placed/paid on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday. The carrier usually delivers the next working day, provided the delivery address is within the Netherlands or Belgium. We strive to deliver every parcel on time, however, it may happen that a parcel is delivered to you a day later. Note: If you order multiple items, the delivery time of the item with the longest delivery time applies.

4.2. If for some reason delivery to our carrier within 48 hours is not possible, you will be contacted by email.

4.3. All articles are available from stock. However, should an article be temporarily out of stock, you will be informed immediately.

4.4. Reservation on delivery; in the event that a certain product is not available because our suppliers, through no fault of our own, no longer deliver it, we may break the sales agreement. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible and, where possible, propose a comparable product as a replacement. In the event that no comparable product can be proposed or you do not wish it, any amounts already charged will be refunded immediately.

4.5. Complaints after receipt of your product will only be considered if they are/are reported to us within 48 hours by e-mail [email protected] with photos.

4.6. if damage has occurred due to transport, we can only consider your complaint if you email the following photos to us [email protected]

After receiving these 4 photos, we will process your complaint.

5. Right of withdrawal

5.1. You have the right to cancel your order up to 30 days after receipt without giving any reason. You have another 14 days to return your product after cancellation. You will then be credited for the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to the shop are for your own account. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original state and packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at [email protected]. Please also mention the order number. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of receiving your return provided the product has already been received back in good order. You must be able to provide the proof of posting. The return can be sent to: Wheelz4kids, Sleutelbloem 35, 5351MR Berghem.

5.2. Should the product be damaged or the packaging more damaged than necessary
necessary to try the product, then we may charge this depreciation of the
product to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure
that it is properly packed in case of a return.

5.3. Goods must be returned as a sufficiently stamped shipment to the correct address. You must be able to provide the proof of posting. To return, please follow the steps below.

5.4. Returning

You have the right to cancel your order up to 30 days after receipt without giving any reason. You have another 14 days to return your product after cancellation. The 14-day period starts on the day you receive the order. The costs for returning are at your own expense, but we can offer you a reduced rate for returns within the Netherlands and from Belgium. For this, you can use our returns service. The cost of the return will then be deducted from the refund of your order. The rates are as follows:

  • Netherlands € 7.95
  • Germany € 7.95
  • Belgium € 7.95

5.5. Returning via our returns service

- Go to our returns portal and register your return using the postcode and tracking number of your order. You will find this number in the track & trace e-mail of the outbound shipment and/or on the shipping label on the package.
- Enclose the packing slip with your return. Make sure everything is well packed.
- Drop the parcel off at your chosen delivery point.
- Once we have received your return, the purchase amount, minus the cost of the return shipment, will be refunded to the account you used to pay for the order within ten working days.

5.6. Returns via your own chosen delivery service

If you do not wish to make use of our return service where you benefit from a reduced shipping rate, you can also return the package yourself (using your own delivery service) to:

5.7. Exchanging items

You can exchange items by returning them and then immediately placing a new order in our webshop. We advise you to confirm the order immediately, then you can be sure that the product you want (before it is sold out) will be sent to you and delivered on time.

5.8. Conditions for returns

A return will only be accepted if both the item and all appendages and packaging are in their original condition. Damaged and used items will not be accepted. Therefore, always send your return properly packed in a shipping box. The original packaging may not be used as a shipping box, it must remain free of stickers, tape and the like. The original packaging of the product to be returned may therefore not be sealed for the return shipment. If necessary, use a plastic bag for this purpose. If the packaging is sealed or damaged upon receipt of the return shipment, we will charge €10 for this. For quick processing, always fill in the return form and enclose it with your return shipment.

6. Liability

6.1. All products included in the Wheelz4kids assortment meet the strict requirements these items must meet. However, Wheelz4kids cannot be held liable for any damage, whether physical, material or immaterial, resulting from malfunctioning or misuse of the products sold by Wheelz4kids.

6.2. The content of this site has been carefully compiled. However, Wheelz4kids cannot rule out the possibility that certain information is incorrect and/or incomplete. Wheelz4kids is not liable for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete information on its website.

6.3. Wheelz4kids is not responsible for typing, typesetting and printing errors that could lead to the unintentional communication of a wrong selling price. Should this occur, Wheelz4kids will adjust the price as soon as possible.

6.4. Wheelz4kids cannot be held responsible for colour deviations due to screen quality.

6.5. Used products will not be accepted, unfortunately we cannot differentiate between slightly used and used. Once the item has been used, the item is no longer saleable. By putting your item into use you agree to the purchase. With regard to skates, rollerblades and scooters, it is advisable to try them on indoors before using them outdoors.

6.6. We try to advise you as correctly as possible and help you choose the right size. However, the advice is not binding and does not guarantee a perfect fit. You are therefore not entitled to a free return if the product does not fit.

7. Privacy

7.1. All personal details are used exclusively by Wheelz4kids and will never be made available to third parties, provided they are necessary for payment transactions and order delivery. We store and process all customer data in compliance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (WPB).

7.2. Copyright; all rights reserved. Nothing from our web page may be copied, saved and/or distributed without written consent from Wheelz4kids.

7.3. Cookies; in our online shop we use cookies to store your customer data. During your next visit to our shop, these data can be retrieved quickly. Thanks to these cookies, you do not have to enter these details every time. If you find that our site does not comply with our privacy policy, please contact us.

7.4. Legally, you have the right to receive a good product. No guarantee is given on moving parts such as, for example: handlebar clamps, clamps, wheels, grips, bearings, brakes, inner and outer tyres. You should therefore maintain them properly. Spray the wheels regularly with a silicone spray, inflate tyres from time to time and tighten moving parts regularly. Damage caused by external influences (drop or impact damage) is not covered by the guarantee.

8. Complaints procedure

  1. The entrepreneur has a sufficiently publicised complaints procedure and handles complaints in accordance with this complaints procedure.
    Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur fully and clearly described within 2 months after the consumer has discovered the defects.
  2. Complaints submitted to the entrepreneur will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeably longer processing time, the entrepreneur will respond within the 14-day period with a notice of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer.
  3. If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises which is subject to the dispute settlement procedure.
  4. For complaints, a consumer should first turn to the entrepreneur. If the online shop is affiliated with Stichting WebwinkelKeur and in case of complaints that cannot be solved by mutual agreement, the consumer should turn to WebwinkelKeur (www.webwinkelkeur.nl), which will mediate free of charge.
  5. Check whether this webshop has a current membership via https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/ledenlijst/. If there is still no solution, the consumer has the possibility to have his complaint handled by the independent dispute committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur Foundation, the decision is binding and both entrepreneur and consumer agree to this binding decision. Submitting a dispute to this dispute committee involves costs that have to be paid by the consumer to the committee in question. It is also possible to submit complaints via the European ODR platform (http://ec.europa.eu/odr).
  6. A complaint does not suspend the obligations of the entrepreneur, unless the entrepreneur indicates otherwise in writing.
  7. If a complaint is found to be justified by the entrepreneur, the entrepreneur will, at his discretion, either replace or repair the delivered products free of charge.
